Frederick C Thedens

Frederick C. Thedens, born on April 21, 1946, in Evergreen Park, Illinois, passed away on February 1, 2025, at Alden Estates of Orland Park. Known for his kind and warm personality, Frederick was a cherished father, grandfather, and friend to many.

For many years, he owned a successful welding business, where he showcased his dedication and craftsmanship. His passion for trains was well-known among family and friends, reflecting his adventurous spirit and appreciation for detail.

Frederick is survived by his beloved children: Tammy, Geno, Micah, and Sara. He was also the proud father-in-law of Valerie and Jake. His legacy continues through his grandchildren, including Michael, Eric, Andrew, Mark, Jessica, and William.

Frederick was preceded in death by his father, Leroy Thedens, his mother, June Thedens, and his son Michael. He also mourned the loss of his granddaughter, Melissa. Despite these losses, the love he shared with his family will always be remembered.

A visitation in Frederick's honor will be held on February 7, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at McKenzie Funeral Home, located at 15618 S Cicero Ave, Oak Forest, IL 60452. His memory will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
