Roberta T Volland

Roberta T. Volland, a dedicated homemaker and beloved matriarch, passed away on January 11, 2025, at the age of 80. Born on October 24, 1944, Roberta filled her years with love, family, and remarkable interests that brought joy to those around her.

Roberta was a passionate gardener, finding solace in nurturing her plants and flowers. Her love for nature extended beyond her garden as she cherished traveling to tropical locations, where she found beauty and inspiration. In addition to her hobbies, Roberta had a profound affection for animals, showing kindness and compassion throughout her life.

Roberta’s family was her pride and joy. She is survived by her son Ronald J. Volland and wife Michelle, as well as her son Randal Volland and his wife Lisa. Her legacy continues through her grandchildren, Courtney Matulis and her husband Eric, Ryan Volland, Alyssa Munson and her husband Zachary, and Mitchel Volland and his fiancée Margaret. She had the immense joy of being a great-grandmother to Elizabeth, Ryan, James, Macie, and Graham.

Siblings Patricia Leese and Arnold Krinski, along with Arnold's wife Carol, also remain, together with her nieces Sheri, Brandi and nephew Brandon, who held a special place in her heart.

Roberta was predeceased by her husband Ronald K. Volland, whose memory she cherished dearly.

A visitation to honor Roberta's life will be held on January 25, 2025, from 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM at McKenzie Funeral Home, located at 15618 S Cicero Ave, Oak Forest, IL 60452.

Roberta T. Volland will be remembered for her warmth, her deep love for her family, and the joy she brought to all who knew her. Her spirit will live on in the hearts of her loved ones as they cherish the memories of her remarkable life.
